Job purpose

The job holder will act as a client-facing Transaction Banking product specialist, working alongside SME and Corporate Relationship Managers to structure, position, and execute trade and transaction banking solutions (BG, LC, TTR).

The role focuses on enabling deal conversion, enhancing client solutions and scaling Transaction Banking revenue by leveraging RM client relationships while supporting new trade opportunities in the market.   

Responsibilities

  1. Sales Opportunity & Client Engagement 
  • Work alongside SME and Corporate RMs to identify, develop, and convert Transaction Banking opportunities from both existing portfolios and new prospects;
  • Act as a client-facing product specialist, jointly engaging in client meetings, pitching, and negotiation;
  • Drive cross-selling of TB products (LC, BG, TTR) to maximize client wallet share and support pipeline growth.
  1. End-to-End Deal Structuring, Execution & Utilization
  • Lead the product side across the full lifecycle from solution structuring to execution and client utilization;
  • Provide expertise on Import/Export LC, Bank Guarantees (bid/performance/APG), TTR, and trade transactions;
  • Support pricing, deal positioning, and documentation, ensuring smooth coordination with Credit, Operations, Legal and Compliance;
  • Ensure transactions are not only approved but also effectively utilized and generate revenue.
  1. RM Partnership & Sales Enablement
  • Partner closely with RM to improve pipeline quality, deal conversion, and execution efficiency;
  • Provide product guidance and on-the-job coaching to RM on trade solutions and client positioning;
  • Strengthen coordination between RM, TB, Credit Appraisal and Approval, and Operations to minimize delays and improve client experience.
  1. Performance & Pipeline Management
  • Track pipeline development, deal conversion and product utilization;
  • Contribute to achieving assigned TB revenue targets (shared with RM under the attach model).
  1. Market Insight & Product Improvement
  • Capture client feedback and market trends to identify product gaps and enhancement opportunities;
  • Contribute to improving trade product offering and client solutions in the Cambodia market

Job Requirement

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, International Trade or related field.
  • Experience: 
    • 5–7 years in Transaction Banking / Trade Finance / Corporate Banking;
    • Experience in Import LC, Export LC, Bank Guarantees and cross-border transactions;
    • Exposure to trading/import-export clients, corporate or SME segments in the Cambodian market.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of trade finance products and ICC rules (UCP, URDG, etc.);
    • Ability to structure trade solutions and support deal execution;
    • Good client-facing communication and consultative selling skills;
    • Strong coordination skills across RM, Credit, Ops and Compliance;
    • Understanding of trade documentation and transaction flow;
    • Fluent in English
